BIOGRAPHY
Andrés Rakos (Santiago de Chile, 1979) is a visual artist and architect by profession. Since his university days, he has shown a deep interest in visuality, which has led him to explore and experiment with a variety of artistic disciplines. Inspired both consciously and unconsciously by the work of Jean-Michel Basquiat, Rakos has developed a style that reflects his passion for rebellious and street art.
Since 2009, he has worked on various artistic mediums, showcasing his mastery of mixed techniques. His creations encompass painting, drawing, collage, sculpture, and other disciplines, fusing elements and materials in a unique and original way. Each artwork represents a synthesis that combines his life, education, and artistic vision, offering the viewer a captivating and authentic visual experience.
Rakos has exhibited his work both individually and collectively in Chile and abroad. Furthermore, his pieces have garnered attention and become part of several private collections in Chile, Mexico, England, the United States, and other countries.
